How affiliate links work and the limits we place on them · Last updated July 2026
Honesty about money is part of being a publication readers can trust, so we want to be completely transparent about how PulseAll earns revenue. This Affiliate Disclosure explains what affiliate links are, how we use them, and, just as importantly, the strict limits we place on them. It is written in the same plain language as everything else we publish, and it is designed to answer the question every thoughtful reader should ask: does the way this site makes money affect what it tells me? Our short answer is no, and the rest of this page explains why.
An affiliate link is a special web link that identifies PulseAll as the source of a referral. When you click one and then make a qualifying purchase from the merchant, we may receive a small commission. The commission is paid by the merchant out of its own margin. It does not increase the price you pay, and in most cases you will not notice any difference at checkout compared with reaching the same product directly. Affiliate marketing is a common and legitimate way that content sites fund their work, and when it is done honestly it aligns our interest with yours: we only benefit if we recommend something you find genuinely worth buying.
You will find affiliate links in some of our guides, particularly in categories where readers are researching a purchase, such as Technology, Gaming, and Fashion, and sometimes in Finance where we discuss consumer products. When we include an affiliate link, it points to a product or service we consider relevant to the guide and worth a reader’s consideration. The link is a convenience, a way to act on information you already wanted, not the reason the information exists.
We may participate in various affiliate programs operated by merchants and networks. As is common for sites like ours, this can include large programs such as the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to a qualifying merchant. Where we participate in a specific program that requires particular wording, we honor that requirement.
This is the most important part of this page. Our editorial conclusions are not for sale. The existence of an affiliate relationship, or the size of a potential commission, never determines whether we recommend a product, how we rank options, or what we say about them. We choose what to cover and what to recommend based on research and honest assessment, as set out in our Editorial Policy. If the best option in a category has no affiliate program, we still recommend it. If a product with a generous commission is not the right choice, we still say so. A guide’s verdict is reached first; affiliate links are added afterward only where they fit.
We understand the natural skepticism. Plenty of sites let commissions quietly steer their advice, and readers are right to be wary. We counter this in a few concrete ways. We separate the people and processes that create editorial content from any commercial relationships. We do not let merchants review or approve our guides. We disclose affiliate relationships clearly, as we are doing here and as we do in context. And we are willing to recommend against products, including ones we could earn from, when that is the honest answer. A recommendation you cannot trust is worthless to you and, in the long run, worthless to us, because our entire model depends on your continued trust.
Occasionally we may publish sponsored content, meaning content created in connection with a paying partner. When we do, we label it clearly as sponsored so you always know what you are reading. Sponsored content is distinct from our independent editorial guides and from ordinary affiliate links within those guides. Even sponsored content is held to our quality standards, and we decline sponsorships that would require us to mislead readers. You can learn more about our commercial arrangements on our Advertise page.
In addition to affiliate links, PulseAll displays advertising served through third-party networks. Display advertising is visually distinct from our content and is not the same as an affiliate recommendation. The presence of an ad from a company does not mean we endorse that company or its products. How advertising interacts with your data is described in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
Prices, offers, and availability for products we link to are set by the merchants, not by us, and they can change at any time without notice. Information about a product in our guides is accurate to the best of our knowledge at the time of writing, but you should always confirm the current price, specifications, and terms on the merchant’s own site before purchasing. We are not responsible for the merchant’s pricing, fulfillment, customer service, returns, or the products themselves. Your purchase is a transaction between you and the merchant, governed by their terms.
Some affiliate links may relate to financial, legal, or health-adjacent products or services. Please remember that our content about these areas is general information, not professional advice, as explained in our Disclaimer. The presence of an affiliate link to such a product is not a recommendation tailored to your circumstances. For decisions in these areas, consult a qualified professional who understands your situation before you act.
Using our affiliate links is entirely optional and is one way to support the free guides we publish, at no additional cost to you. If you would prefer not to use them, you are welcome to navigate to any product or merchant directly, and you will still have full access to everything we publish. Either way, our guidance remains the same, because the guidance was never dependent on the link.
We want this to be clear, so if anything about our affiliate practices is unclear, please ask. Email editor@pulseall.com or reach us through our Contact page. This disclosure is provided in the interest of transparency and is general information about how our site operates, not legal advice.
